I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as working in private practice from my home in Sarratt (WD3 6BY) near Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. I also work as a counsellor, assessor and supervisor for The Mind Network.
For many people there are times when life gets difficult and a way ahead hard to find, those are the times when having someone to talk to can help. That person can be a close friend or a family member; someone you trust.
But then there are times when for one reason or another it might not be appropriate to seek support from our friends or family, it is often at times like these that talking to someone who is qualified, independent and experienced could give you a different perspective on things, and that's really what counselling is about.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy I usually work from my home in Sarratt, which is within easy travelling distance of Watford and Hemel Hempstead. I work with people in a way that explores the issues or problems that the person is facing, endeavouring to enable them in their search for a solution. This is often a very personal journey during which people can discover a way forward to a more empowered and effective way of being.
The problems I have experience in helping with are: -

Panic attacks.
Physical abuse.
Difficulties at work.
Relationship Problems.
Childhood emotional neglect.

My Counselling practice in Sarratt is within easy reach of Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, St Albans, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, Chesham, Great Missenden, Berkhamsted and Tring. As a guide Sarratt is approximately 13 miles from St Albans; the distance from Watford or Hemel Hempstead is about 8 miles, and Rickmansworth is around 5 miles away by car.
