I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as working in private practice I also work as a counsellor and assessor for Buckinghamshire Mind.
For many people there are times when life gets difficult and a way ahead hard to find, those are the times when having someone to talk to can help. That person can be a close friend or a family member; someone you trust.
But then there are times when for one reason or another it might not be appropriate to seek support from our friends or family, it is often at times like these that talking to someone who is qualified, independent and experienced could give you a different perspective on things, and that's really what counselling is about.
As a member of the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy I usually work from my home in Sarratt near Watford, I am also able to see people in Aylesbury. I work with people in a way that explores the issues or problems that the person is facing, endeavouring to enable them in their search for a solution. This is often a very personal journey during which people can discover a way forward to a more empowered and effective way of being.
The problems I have experience in helping with are: -

Sexual Abuse.
Panic attacks.
Physical abuse.
Difficulties at work.
Relationship Problems.
Childhood emotional neglect.
And experiencing life dificulties.
